IPL 2018 Auctions

IPL session 11 is going to start soon and IPL 2018 mega Auction official event s held in Bengaluru on 27 and 28 January. In the past 10 sessions of IPL, the Auction was not really big as compare to this year. In this session of IPL two teams, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royal is going to unban. These teams got banned due to spot-fixing and betting case in 2013. MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina will be retained in Chennai Super Kings and Steven Smith will be retained in Rajasthan Royal.

IPL 2018 Auction is going to little bit different this time. Each side can have five players with a combination of pre player Auction right to the first choice during the player auction.This time IPL salary cap is much bigger than the last session of IPL. Salary cap last session was 66 crores and in this session salary cap is 80 crores. Which is really a huge amount. In this Session, Star sports won the media rights of IPL for next Five years. They won these rights for Rs 16347.50 crore before this bid Sony’s bid was Rs 16347.50 crore other bidders are Airtel, Facebook, Times Internet, Reliance Jio, beIN Sports, SuperSport, Yupp TV, Gulf DTH, BAM Tech, Econet Media Group, Perform Group, and Follow-on Interactive Media.

and IPL Chairman Rajeev Shukla made the announcement that the title sponsorship for IPL 2018-22 was given away to Vivo for Rs. 2,199 Crores for 5 years. IPL has made lots of records and achievements in these 7 years. Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals are back in IPL 2018 with the same team expected. MS Dhoni is leading Chennai Super Kings.
